Legends Sports Bar Poster Menu | 24”x36”

I designed this mounted poster menu for Legends Sports Bar to showcase their food and drink offerings during a special event celebrating the Long Beach Fire Department.

My goal was to create a clean, balanced layout that allowed guests to easily navigate the menu from top to bottom while keeping Legends’ branding front and center. Red was used prominently to align with both the Fire Department theme and Legends’ signature color palette—evoking boldness, warmth, and a classic American sports bar feel.

Maintaining a clear visual hierarchy was key to ensuring the viewer could quickly distinguish between sections, prices, and categories. Despite the challenge of fitting a large amount of information into a limited space, I developed a structure that remains visually appealing and true to Legends’ established brand identity.

Turkish Grill Kebab A-Frame Sign | 24”x36”

I designed this A-frame sidewalk sign for Turkish Grill Kebab, a restaurant located on 2nd Street in Long Beach. With their high foot traffic, the client wanted a sign that would quickly capture attention and showcase the variety of food they offer.

My goal was to create a clean, visually balanced layout that could be easily read from a distance. Since most viewers would only glance at the sign for a moment while walking by, I emphasized clear hierarchy and large, appetizing images of the dishes.

To reflect the restaurant’s Turkish identity, I used warm brown tones paired with a light cream background for contrast, ensuring the text remained legible. The ornamental patterns and serif typeface were chosen to complement the cultural aesthetic while maintaining a modern, inviting look. The color contrast in the background also helped separate the main dishes from desserts and drinks, giving the menu structure and clarity.

The final design effectively communicated the restaurant’s offerings while aligning with its brand identity, resulting in an eye-catching display that draws in passing customers.

Jerry Schaefer Business Cards | 3.5”x2”

I designed and printed these business cards for Jerry Schaefer, an author, writer, and blogger published by ExpandJoy. Jerry wanted a card that felt professional but playful — something that would communicate his work and entice people to explore his books.

To achieve that balance I kept ExpandJoy’s signature orange as the primary accent color and used soft, rounded shapes to add depth and approachability. A clean sans-serif typeface reinforces a modern, readable layout while the angled shapes and layered panels introduce subtle three-dimensionality so the card doesn’t feel flat. The front highlights Jerry’s role and contact details; the back showcases his publisher and selected titles to spark curiosity and provide context.

The result is a polished, on-brand card that reflects both Jerry’s professional identity and the playful spirit of his publisher. The client was very satisfied with the final print.

Woof Walkers Business Cards | 3.5”x2”

I designed and printed these business cards for a client’s dog-walking business, Woof Walkers. The client provided the necessary information and gave me full creative freedom to develop the design concept.

My goal was to create something bright, friendly, and approachable—qualities that would help build trust and leave a strong first impression.

I achieved this through several design choices, starting with a bold yellow background that immediately draws attention and communicates warmth and positivity. The rounded, hand-drawn typeface complements the cartoon-style illustration of the dog walker, creating a cohesive and playful look. To reinforce the theme, I used a dashed line to symbolize walking while also separating the contact details from the company name. On the back, I incorporated paw prints as bullet points to subtly tie the design back to the brand’s focus on pets.

The final design successfully captured the approachable and trustworthy personality the client wanted to convey, helping them make a memorable impression with potential customers and stand out from competitors.

Gondola Getaway Postcards | 5.5”x8.5”

I designed and printed this postcard for Gondola Getaway, a Long Beach business offering authentic gondola cruises through the Naples Canals in Belmont Shore.

The client wanted to recreate an existing postcard they hand to customers at the end of their cruise, featuring a printed photo of their experience that fits into the center once a slit is added. Since they didn’t want a complete redesign, I stayed true to their original layout while modernizing the overall look.

I incorporated new photos provided by the client and added a beveled edge to frame the central image, giving it a refined, picture-frame effect. I also updated the color palette with a red front finish to match the brand’s prominent use of red in their logo and branding.

For the back, I kept the green, white, and red color scheme as a nod to the Italian flag, honoring the Venetian inspiration behind Gondola Getaway’s cruises. The client also requested company information, cruise details, and a QR code that links to their website for easy access to reservations and additional information.

Domenico’s & Gondola Getaway Signage | 23”x23”

I designed this signage for Domenico’s, one of the oldest restuarants in Long Beach in collaboration with Gondola Getaway, a tourist focused business that offers gondola crusies through the canals of Naples Island in Belmont Shore. They wanted to create a 23”x23” signage to be to be printed and displayed in front of Domenico’s restaurant on 2nd St. that highlighted their collaborative gondola experience that came with food provided by Domenico’s.

With that in mind I wanted to emphasize the collaboration using visual heirarchy and a bold thick typeface to grab the viewers attention, keeping in mind this would be viewed from the front of the restuarant with people walking by. I then wanted to display all the information about the collaboration including what the cruise entails, the kind of food that would be provided and finishing it with a call to action by providing their phone number where people can book their cruise. I wanted the viewer to read this in a natural way, reading from top to bottom so I displayed all the information on the left side. As for the background image, I used a picture from one of the crusies that the client provided to accurately represent what the cruise would look like. I edited the image to create this painted-like effect to make it a bit more artistic rather than using the photo as is and as a result it created these blank color blocks that I was able to set the text in and made the text legible and easy to read on the eyes.

Randy Lewis Painting Business Cards & Logo | 3.5”x2”

I designed and printed these business cards for Randy Lewis Painting, a painting business located in Long Beach. The client wanted these cards to advertise their services in a visually engaging way while providing contact information to potential or current customers.

I began this project by creating the logo to set the direction and aesthetic for the brand. My goal was to craft a bold, classic, and eye-catching logo, centered around a stylized paint can with dripping paint, to serve as a strong focal point for reinforcing the company's core service. The clean, modern typography for "Randy Lewis Painting" and supporting details (e.g., contact info and services) is legible and well-balanced, with strategic use of white space to maintain professionalism. The wavy edge design, inspired by dripping paint, adds a unique flourish, while the bright orange and teal color scheme ensures high contrast and visual appeal. Key elements like his qualifications, the inclusion of services (Interior • Exterior • Free Estimates), and contact details blend functionality with creativity, making this design an effective marketing tool. Printed on sturdy cardstock, I’m proud of how this project captures Randy’s brand while showcasing my ability to merge bold aesthetics with practical design.

[4.25”x11”] Door Hangers For Charter Group Construction

Designed and printed these 4.25x11 inch door hangers to be distributed among neighborhoods in Long Beach to advertise the work this company does in the area. The client wanted to build brand awareness and showcase photos of projects they have done. I wanted to lay these photos out in a grid to represent the structure and form to coincide with the company’s line of work in construction. I stayed within the brands color use on their logo to keep the branding consistent. Everything was aligned and scaled to be able to hole punch the top to be able to place on door handles.

Wilson High School Baseball Team Banners | 18”x27”

Designed these banners to be printed for a highschool baseball team. I had to create individual files for each player. I extracted each player from photos provided by their parents which were set against a red shipping container. I took inspiration from vintage baseball cards and gave it a modern look.
