Gondola Getaway Postcards | 5.5”x8.5”

I designed and printed this postcard for Gondola Getaway, a Long Beach business offering authentic gondola cruises through the Naples Canals in Belmont Shore.

The client wanted to recreate an existing postcard they hand to customers at the end of their cruise, featuring a printed photo of their experience that fits into the center once a slit is added. Since they didn’t want a complete redesign, I stayed true to their original layout while modernizing the overall look.

I incorporated new photos provided by the client and added a beveled edge to frame the central image, giving it a refined, picture-frame effect. I also updated the color palette with a red front finish to match the brand’s prominent use of red in their logo and branding.

For the back, I kept the green, white, and red color scheme as a nod to the Italian flag, honoring the Venetian inspiration behind Gondola Getaway’s cruises. The client also requested company information, cruise details, and a QR code that links to their website for easy access to reservations and additional information.
